LPDF release 10 point plan ahead of the election

Ahead of the election on July 4th, the LPDF is proud to announce the release of "Planning: The Key that will Unlock Economic Growth – A 10 Point Plan for a Step Change in Delivery." This comprehensive action plan for the next government outlines strategic measures which would enable the delivery of more housing within the existing planning system. 

The UK is facing a housing crisis of unprecedented proportions. Housing affordability remains elusive for many, homelessness and overcrowding are at record levels, and the stock of social housing continues to shrink. This situation exacerbates intergenerational unfairness and contributes to declining birth rates. 

Whichever party forms the next government will need to take decisive action straight away.
